Discussion Questions

Let’s talk about Feelings

Question 1:

How does the scarecrow feel in the beginning of the story? Why do you think he feels that way?

 

Question 2:

How does he feel in the middle of the story? How does the author show you how the scarecrow feels?

 

Question 3:

Tell me about a time you were lonely. What can you do to feel happier? If you saw someone who looked lonely, what could you do?

 

Question 4:

How do the scarecrow’s emotions change over time? How does he feel at the end of the story?
